The Cleveland area Soccer Shots program is proud to be offering Soccer Shots to local daycare centers after seeing its success in other parts of the country. Currently the Cleveland Program is operating at 17 different daycare centers and is always on the lookout for new centers.

Park Program Info

Soccer Shots is an elective program for kids ages 3-8 and meets once a week at the daycare center for a 30-40 minute session. There is no cost incurred by the daycare centers as parents sign up their children individually for the sessions.

Local Leadership:
Joe Herman-- Born and raised in Middleburg Heights, Joe has been playing soccer since the age of 6. After a remarkable career at both the club and collegiate level, Joe has put his talents to work as a coach. During the past 11 years, Joe has had the opportunity to serve as JV and assistant varsity boys coach at Cuyahoga Heights and Berea high. Joe helped Berea win one of its only district titles. He currently serves as the coach at Medina for the girl’s JV-A team and is one of the Varsity assistant coaches. Following the philosophy “stay connected to the game”, Joe started the first Soccer Shots franchise in 2005. In 26 years of involvement with the sport, he considers his greatest pride working with the children. Now a family man, Joe continues to live in Middleburg Heights with his wife and 2 beautiful daughters.

Instructors:
All Soccer Shots instructors are enthusiastic, great teachers, and love working with children. The instructors not only teach soccer skills, but also work on improving balance, coordination, and agility with the kids. Soccer Shots also uses the sessions to teach children important concepts such as teamwork, sharing, and respect.
