Soccer Shots

Soccer Shots is an elective program offered to children ages 3-6 that meets once a week at daycare centers and preschools for 30- to 40-minute sessions. All Soccer Shots instructors are energetic and enthusiastic, are great teachers, and love working with children.The instructors not only teach soccer skills, but also work on improving balance, coordination, and agility with the kids. Soccer Shots also uses the sessions to teach children important concepts such as teamwork, sharing, and respect.

Director: Danielle Malagari played for the Washington Freedom and professionally in Denmark for Odense Boldklub after a 4-year collegiate career at University of Maryland. She had a 4-year standout career at Our Lady of Good Counsel where she led the team to four consecutive WCAC Championships. She was the leading scorer for Good Counsel her final three years and was WCAC Player of the year two times in 1999 and 2000. She holds an NSCAA "National" Diploma and USSF "D" License. Danielle is the head coach at the Connelly School of the Holy Child in Potomac, MD where in 2009 they won the regular season ISL A Title. She is also the head coach of the U-14 Bethesda Threat and U-12 Bethesda Azul. She is an assistant coach of the U-14 Bethesda Freedom who were state cup champions in 2008.
