Soccer Shots is an elective program offered to children ages 3-6 that meets once a week at daycare centers and preschools throughout Harrisburg for 30- to 40-minute sessions. All Soccer Shots instructors are energetic and enthusiastic, are great teachers, and love working with children. The instructors not only teach soccer skills, but also work on improving balance, coordination, and agility with the kids. Soccer Shots also uses the sessions to teach children important concepts such as teamwork, sharing, and respect.

Co-Director: Anthony Calvano is a professional soccer player, a gifted soccer teacher, and a kid enthusiast! He currently plays for the Harrisburg City Islanders and previously played for the Pittsburgh River Hounds. Anthony started all 40 games of his junior and senior years at Penn State University.

Anthony has coached high school, middle school, and club soccer and has worked with thousands of youth soccer players as a Soccer Shots instructor. In addition to playing and coaching soccer, Anthony has a degree in elementary education from Penn State. Anthony is an active member of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) and currently resides in Harrisburg, PA.

Co-Director: Jason Webb- A native of Central PA, Jason played soccer collegiately at Messiah College and professionally with the Harrisburg HEAT and currently serves on the coaching staff with the men's soccer team at Messiah. He has worked extensively with young soccer players over the past ten years and has contributed significantly to the development of the national Soccer Shots curriculum. Jason is an active member of the NSCAA and currently resides in Hummelstown, PA with his wife Mandy and daughters Ella and Clara.
