Soccer Shots is an elective program offered to children
ages 3-6 that meets once a week at daycare centers and preschools
for 30- to 40-minute sessions. All Soccer Shots instructors
are energetic and enthusiastic, are great teachers, and love
working with children. The instructors not only teach soccer
skills, but also work on improving balance, coordination, and
agility. Soccer Shots also uses the sessions to teach children
important concepts such as teamwork, sharing, and respect.

Local Leadership:
Raul Diaz, Director: Raul’s passion for soccer
developed at an early age in his hometown of Barcelona, Spain.
As a junior, he played professionally with both Real Madrid
CF and FC Barcelona affiliated clubs. His dedication to the
game led him to continue his soccer career in the Spanish league.
Raul not only enjoys playing soccer, he loves sharing his enthusiasm
for the sport with children. Raul has coached several teams
in Barcelona, including FC Barcelona affiliated clubs for players
under the age of 12. While he finds joy in coaching competitively,
he also thinks it’s essential to instill a sense of fun
when teaching children soccer skills. Raul believes that when
children have fun engaging in a sport, they are inspired to
maintain a healthy, active lifestyle. Since moving to California
from Spain two years ago, Raul has actively pursued opportunities
to play and teach soccer. He currently plays with International
FC in the Marin Men’s League.
Instructors:
Soccer Shots' outstanding crew of instructors consists of local
college soccer coaches and players and other highly qualified
and motivated soccer coaches. Their #1 goal is to ensure your
child is having a good and safe time all the while learning
basic soccer skills, teamwork, and fair play.
